Service Terms & Shipping Fulfillment Disclaimer
1. Scope of Services
Our "On-the-Go Shipping Service" is strictly limited to packing, labeling, and staging packages for third-party carrier pickup (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL). We are a fulfillment provider, not a common carrier. Our service is complete once the package is made available for pickup or scanned by the carrier.
2. Inspection and Right of Refusal
Condition of Entry: All items must be presented unsealed and unpacked for mandatory safety inspection.
Refusal of Service: We reserve the absolute right to refuse any shipment that we deem hazardous, illegal, improperly documented, or beyond our professional packing capacity.
3. Customer Warranties & Responsibilities
By utilizing our services, you (the "Customer") represent and warrant that:
- Ownership: You are the legal owner or authorized agent of the goods.
- Compliance: The shipment contains no prohibited, restricted, or hazardous materials under local, national, or international law.
- Costs: You remain solely responsible for all shipping rates, service fees, customs duties, taxes, and any surcharges imposed by the carrier or government authorities.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pari's Convenience Store shall not be held liable for:
- Transit Issues: Any loss, theft, damage, or delay occurring once the package has left our premises or has been accepted by the carrier.
- Indirect Damages: Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or "emotional value" of the items.
- Carrier Actions: Any package seized, held, or investigated by customs or carrier security due to the nature of the contents.
- Maximum Cap: Our total liability for any claim related to our packing or handling services shall not exceed the total service fee paid for that specific transaction.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pari's Convenience Store from any claims, fines, or legal expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your breach of these terms, inaccurate documentation, or the shipment of prohibited items.
6. Acceptance of Terms
Acceptance of a quote, payment of an invoice, or delivery of items to our center constitutes your full agreement to these terms. Any assistance we provide with carrier claims is a voluntary courtesy and does not imply an assumption of liability for the carrier’s performance.
Customs Declaration Terms
1. Facilitation Disclaimer
The platform acts as a shipping facilitator only and is not responsible for any form of customs clearance, regulatory delays, import inspections, or duties/taxes imposed by destination authorities.
2. Payment Responsibilities
- Sender Payment (DDP): If the Sender is selected to pay duties, the carrier will act as the clearing agent and bill the duties/taxes directly to the Sender's account.
- Receiver Payment (DDU/DAP): If the Receiver is selected, the recipient of the parcel is legally responsible for clearing the customs and paying any assessed fees. Failure to do so may result in the abandonment or return of the shipment at the sender's expense.
3. Accuracy of Information
The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of the HS Codes, item descriptions, and values provided. Inaccurate information may lead to significant delays, fines, or seizure by customs authorities.
4. Tracking and Support
For any queries regarding the status of an international shipment in customs, please contact the designated carrier directly with your tracking information. The platform does not handle individual customs clearance cases.
